Equipment: Canon A-1 SLR

It's been a very long while since I posted a classic camera review but I bought a Canon A-1 over the weekend at an antique mall. I haven't finished my first roll yet, but I'm very impressed by its handling. It's a considerably better camera than the Canon AE-1 Program that I used to own.

Love my Canon A-1 SLR

Glad I found your write-up on the Canon A-1.

For me, it's the one camera I will never sell or give away.

My best friend owned it. When he passed away, it became mine.

I recently had it CLA'd and then a shutter mechanism broke on it. All repaired.

In 25 years I don't think anyone will be using the digital cameras of today. But hopefully, a grandson or granddaughter will be shooting with my best friend's Canon A-1.
