Rural Barn, Red Wing, MN Minnesota is full of these abandoned barns. While I was antiquing in Red Wing, I came across this one by the side of the road. I immediately regretted that I didn't have my wonderful new Zeiss Distagon 50mm f/4 for my Hasselblad. Nonetheless, my Leitz Summicron DR 50mm f/2 handled itself with aplomb, I think. Early November and the corn had been harvested. The field next to the barn looked like a bomb hit it. This year was a bad crop because of the drought. All the corn stalks were flattened and dead. The next day, we had our first major snow fall. Winter is coming. From the PAW 2003 series. Filename: 031102a-05-RedWingM7.jpg |
