Old Garage, Shimoda City, Shizuoka, Japan

Shimoda is famous for being the Japanese city where Admiral Perry of the United States set up his first trading mission after opening up Japan by force in 1854.

Shimoda is located on the southern tip of the Izu Peninsula, about 3 hours southeast of Tokyo. It's quicker to get there by boat than by car because the Izu Peninsula is quite moutainous.

I came across this old garage while walking about. It looks like people also used to live in the rear rooms. I've taken photos both with color and B&W film. Please let me know which ones you like more.
