John Kerry Campaign Speech, February 2004

Presidential candidate John Kerry came to Saint Paul in February to try to promote himself before the caucuses. He talked at my college, in our little auditorium. I heard they deliberately chose a small college so that the gym would be overfilled. Well, they got what they wanted, most people couldn't get in and it was only the intervention of one of my lovely students that got me in.

The rally was fully of Kerry supporters, as well as some Edwards fans. Kerry was much better in person than he is on television. Outside the auditorium were some protesters.
