Colonel Gary at Work - December, 2003 The Picture-A-Week (PAW) project forces photographers to select a photograph each week and submit it for public critique. Each photographer has lulls and peaks of activity, the PAW project forces us to examine and reexamine our work on a continual basis. It's fitting that my first PAW of the year is one of the things that I do a lot of - going to the auction. I'm not sure why auctioneers are always called "Colonel" but Gary is one of the local auctioneers in the Twin Cities. One of the local antique stores went out of business and Gary came in to auction off their inventory. I picked up a couple of classic cameras, including a very nice black Yashica GT.
