Grain Depot
Minneapolis MN

The Twin Cities used to be a major center for grain milling. In fact, Saint Paul used to have the nickname "Mill City." But unlike the Big Apple or the Windy City, when St. Paul's industrial center collapsed, the name fell into disuse.

Around St. Paul and Minneapolis you can still find these large grain elevators. Some of them are still in use, others have really fallen into disrepair.
