Earlier this fall, I was out testing my Retina IIIc, a compact folding rangefinder made in Germany. Despite being about fifty years old, the Schneider Xenon lens still zings. Typical of the era, the contrast is low which gives photographs taken with it a period look. This gentleman was sitting at the bus stop near the Highland Park shopping area. Nicolette Avenue The photo below was taken on Nicollete Avenue, the so-called "Eat Street" where there are several ethnic restaurants. The best Laotian, Chinese, and Mexican food can be found in this area.
