Ramen Chef
Ramen Museum, Hakata, Japan

One of the most popular types of restaurants in Japan these days are "Ramen Noodle Museums." The first one was located in Yokohama, but now they've sprouted in all cities. Hakata is of course famous for their own pork-based ramen noodles.

Ramen Museums invite famous ramen restaurants from all across Japan to open up small branches under one large roof. Just like the "Iron Chef" program, they have monthly competitions to see which restaurant/chef is the best. We had to wait in line for 40 minutes to get into this store. The ramen was absolutely wonderful.
