Sweet Potato Baker
Kyoto, Japan

Walking along the older parts of Kyoto, I came across this old man baking sweet potatoes in a little store by the side of the road. The store looks like it hadn't been renovated in over fifty years.

His smile radiated kindness. He gave me a sweet potato to eat. I tried to pay him, he insisted that I keep it.
