LaCie Slim Combo CD-RW..light weight and usb bus powered. i back up all my pictures with this. among other things, don't trust the high power x-ray machines of the airports.

The usb bridge makes sense. The combo writer... not for me, I never look to carry things that only will use possibly in case of disaster. I might prefer to install a basic system in the ipod and boot from it than carrying that. It's just me.
